Can the date be set backwards as well?

Do not set the date backwards, set the date forwards on the quick date set. For instance, say it is January 20th at 8AM. Set it to January 19th, then advance using the hours and minute hands until the date goes to the 20th.

. . . 24 hour hand, so it's not affected by actuating the pushers. It is possible to set local time backwards, of course, but the date will not transition backwards to track the change in local time . . . cordially, Art
