Dear all, I have been presented with the opportunity of purchasing these two fine pieces. My logical and sane self convinces me that one only needs one of them. Let's rule out the issue of prices, which one would you prefer around your wrist?

PanoGraph in platinum (LE of 200) or PanoRetroGraph in white gold (LE of 150).

Both are beautiful and functional. I personally do not care for the regular chronograph look of three rings and consider GO's execution of chronograph is perfect. It is less crowded and very readable with an interesting presentation of time keeping.

I am torn, because I am particularly fond of collecting platinum pieces. At the same time, PanoRetroGraph is perhaps one of the, for the lack of better words, cool movements. I hope by now you understand my predicament...

Please enlighten me with your words of wisdom! Thank you in advance!

Ok, my seat of the pants answer is . . .

. . . the white gold PanoRetroGraph, because the complication is utterly unique, and charmingly so.

PanoRetroGraph.  No question.  The PRG is one of the coolest chronos out there.  Please get it and post photos ASAP.

.. I know it's not the choice of metals you highlighted and as you highlighted, if pricing is not an issue, I'd say the PRG.

It's just that much more special and that much more rare. Go for the PanoRetroGraph and you won't look back.

without a doubt if price is not an issue.   If you are patient and lucky enough, the platinum PRG (with an even more stunning dial) does come up once in a while at auction houses.  Having said that, I think the movement by itself is just so unique that it overrides the metals (as they all look so beautiful to me)

I guess it all depends on your viewpoint. I would never buy a watch that I didn't intend to wear at least on special occasions. I fully understand, though, a viewpoint that considers them as objects of art.

The PanoRetroGraph certainly qualifies as an objet d'art . . . .

...I wear watches... But I prefer old chronographs...above all Longines (the best ones)... This is one of my favorite...

A superb 13 ZN... A grail for many Vintage Chrono lovers.

Strong dial, thick case, and superb movement... What's not to love?
