Black rubber (maybe red or green) would work better IMHO.
I think the brown calf leather strap
gives a very nice contrast with the ADLC or PVD case.
Especially since it is a calf kinda leather and not an alligator.

...action watches, I also think brown it's definetly on but I'd choose a different hue of brown. This one is a bit too dark for my personal taste.
It works!
It works quite well in my eyes. The rich brown strap gives the black military watch a bit of elegance while still being a tool watch. Think a rugged military personnel who is both at home in the jungle battlefield and also at home in civilian clothes. I don't know if that was the look you were aiming for, but I like it!

If check for example on instagram I find the black could look good with coloured fabric strap or coloured leather. It’s a cool Pam nonetheless my friend!

I like the dark brown with the case. It is very complementary. I like light and darker browns with a black case...kind of works with everything!

Rubber straps fits the best. On my 616 i very rarely wear a blue strap. See the 616 thread. If leather u could have a look for a black one with white stitching or something in grey . I would stick to the rubber
