Because it’s a Pan w date. And it’s not truly ultilitarian-minimal. But: me likey. Except maaaaybe I’d sleek up those hands. 

I still cannot keep them too long. One reason is that several that I had were limited editions like this, and while they are pretty watches as standalone pieces, in the end, they are manufactured by one of the great Italian houses. The break from the heritage of the line ultimately turns me off from ownership because I am a traditionalist at heart and, pretty or not, I have to let them all go.
