although it wasn't called California yet.The dial had already been used to Rolex, when they made it available to Panerai (it was their product) They "agreed" to produce 1 special model (only for Panerai) with the reference: 3646. Technicallly though, it never made the California an anonymous dial OF Panerai smile Cheers
