Hello all,
I am new to the site, and somewhat new to Panerai, but I really like the look. I'm trying to decide on which Pam to get. I think I'm leaning away from the larger watches (45+) since I have a relatively narrow wrist. Any suggestions would be appreciated, and photos would be really helpful.
Thanks,
Chris
You love Panerai?
You're in trouble, my new friend...
So many watches...
Panerai is like a labyrinth..Too many ways to loose yourself.
So what do you want?
A Sub?
Pam 24, or 25, the king being the Bomba.
A Rad?:
You can go there in a bigger size than 44 or 45...
45mm:Pam 190 is the best! JLC 8 days PR, an horlogical Panerai.
47mm: The Cali, the wieght of the past, of the History, or the 232 for the same reasons.
A Luminor?:
It will depend on your budget. If you can afofrd it go to the magic T dials: Pam 1, 2, 4, 9, 36, 40!!!
If not, go to Pam 000,( the Logo), Pam 5 or 111 ( with little seconds at 9).
A Chrono?
Go to THE REFERENCE..The Mare Nostrum.
I have problems with Image shack for the moment, but I'll post pics later!
Best.
Nicolas
Thanks for the welcome and the reply Nicolas. I will do a little searching based on your recomendations - thank you. I tend to lean towards things that are understated and not "run of the mill". Colorwise, I lean towards white gold as opposed to yellow or rose colors. I kind of like the exclusivity of the "black seal" also.
Thanks again...

Listen what amanico is telling you when you are in Panerai
My choices for the beginner will be 0, 5, 111 or 112 if you are in Luminor
or 210 and 183 if you are in Radiomir
Best

As for winding versus automatic, I have no preference. I tend to lean more toward pieces (things in general) that are of limited numbers. The 198 looks great, as does the 246, although the 246 is probably more than I want to spend... I think I would like to stay under $10K.
I'll keep looking. In the meantime, thanks very much for your help.
Chris
It's a bit above 10 K USD...
Just have a look on it...
Hummmmmmmmm...So Sexy!
LOL
but the 190, the same 8 Days Rad in SS falls in your budget...
Best.
Nicolas
Thanks Nicolas. Back to the drawing board.
