I voted circular but between those 2 I would say fang. But it was not a chtonograp I would probably prefer circular

Now I love it...I will say though if the PR on the 344 was a little different I might change my vote..to me it just gets lost in the dial like it is

I thought I would like the circular power reserve indicator since I never really liked the fang indicator.  But the more I looked at the circular indicator, the more I didn't like it.  I think if Panerai changed the look of the circular indicator, I might like it better than the fang, but with this current layout, I don't like it much.

Also, maybe give the hand another shape such as an arrow or anything other than the Panerai leaf hand so it differentiates itself from the other hands on the dial.

I still prefer the original fang, but IMO the circular version would look great if it had a different hand.

I wonder if the pink gold on the 344 and 319 are indeed different.   I've always thought that the PG case made by Panerai were a still a touch too yellow/goldish for my taste but the colour tone of the 344 pictured here seemed almost perfect to me!

I wasn't a big fan of the fang and I still don't love it but the dial just looks odd to me.  Could it be that over time the fang will be accepted as a signature Panerai detail?  I think that I will always prefer the PR indicator on the back - like the 190 - but the fang is starting to look "normal" to me.

Like shown on these pictures, I definitely prefer the fang indicator. I am sure though, that the circular indicator would look much better if the hand would be in the same style as the small seconds and the chrono hands.

I think the fang adds some deepness to the dial. The circular looks to me poor and flat....
