Panerai must have been reading my mind and that of many Panerai affectionados when they come up with this design. Yes, the hands could be longer and they could have put a rolex movement in it (which I suspect they may do and make it a limited edition in the coming years), 372 has already fulfilled many of the items on my Pam Wish List.
Fingers crossed, hoping to receive the phone call from Panerai soon.
Because I love the Fiddy 127 and what's there not to like about a composite version?
Also my wrist is quite skinny and therefore the darker casing allows for a lower profile 47mm which is great.
It's awesome, just awesome
372 comes first ... I THINK
I really love the case and it is imo much better than the 127 of which I never liked the '1950' on the dial. Said it before but would you like it if the 232 / 249 had 1936 and 1938 on the dial ?? It also looks like the plexi is not as much domed as the saphire on the 127. I prefer them a bit more flat
382 gorgeous too
Maybe almost as good as tha 372 but i need to see it IRL first

As this is the composite model of the Pam 127. Alone, the 127 is the holy grail to so many of us who grew to admire the watch day by day..
Now the 375 comes with in- house movement, 47mm, lightweight and the same design of the fiddy.
In additional with the body in composite, its the perfect combo for the fiddy.
i personally love the '1950' as it contributes that the watch has a history of its own , in my opinion.
Lastly , thanks DRMW for taking the time to organising this contest.
Good luck to all

John
I cam totally in love with the 382, the Luminor Submersible 1950 "Bronzo"...
As a child, I spent many hours immersed in books - one of my go-to favorites was "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" by Jules Verne. The watch really feels like it would be something worn by the characters in the book. It also has a steampunk aesthetic to it, which I really like!
have to admit also that pam 356 grew slowly on me

the 372 its just being true to the original without any makeup on , and the 382 due to the fact that a new metal is being used in panerais cases " though used before in some prototypes" however the over all idea of bronze brings the PATINA back but in a metal context this time.

Personally, I really like the 375 and 372.
The 375, as John said above, is the modern Fiddy (127) that many of us missed out on earlier in the Panerai history. The Fiddy case is iconic and the composite just makes it even more unique. With the additional benefit of the new 3 day handwound, this is a winner in my eyes.
The 372 is a modern twist to the past, incorporated with today's technology. Also, the etched dial is just fantastic.
But the winner I would have to say is the 373. Yes, its platinum, its pricey, its out of my watch budget. But, its what Panerai does best. Bringing history to modern times and will be a winner going forward.
Thanks Ming and Anthony!
I think the 2011 release is simply awesome and bold.
It is like there are too many to choose from this year but too little in the piggy bank to shell out..
Cheers,
