Officine Panerai

I just wanted to drop a short THANK YOU post to Panerai NA and the PuristSPro for a wonderful evening filled with good food, great friends and of course, wonderous new releases from Panerai!

I am sure Anthony will have complete reporting of the festivities as my photos and words will not do the evening justice.  The new venue and intimate setting facilitated discussions with new and old friends.  I personally spent 15 minutes alone with Mr. Rafael Alvarez discussing the future direction of Panerai and various topics that have been posted here and on other watch fora. 

Thank you to Mr. Rafael Alvarez, Mr. Chad Warrick and the rest of the staff at the Panerai Beverly Hills Boutique.  Also, huge props to our very own Anthony Tsai for a great event!

Panerai is a relatively new brand to me. It was great to see the DNA of the brand, the excitement of the Paneristi and to meet the people. Rafael Alvarez, Chad and the entire Panerai staff - A big thank you. Hope the attached pictures show the fun that we had.

The California dial was my favorite of the night.

Rafael was wearing this simplistic looking but complicated watch that showed times in three ways - regular, solar, and astronomical times.

I like the look of the Luminor on my wrist. I dont think my wife will like me buying this since I just picked up Rolex a month ago. Oh! the troubles....

My Rolex next to the Panerai - one is small and wears big and the other is big but wears smaller than it is.

And what an event!  The venue was superb and unique.  The watches displayed were truly impressive.  And the people; fellow PuristS, the dream-team from Panerai Beverly Hills, Monseiur Alvarez, and Mister Poulson were truly gracious hosts.

It was great to meet new friends and see old ones. It was my very first PP event and definitely will not be the last. Thanks Anthony for putting it all together!

Just dropping in to thank Anthony and the staff at Purist Pro for another wonderful event. It's always great to talk watches with a great people who share the passion. Kudos to Chad Warrick and his amazing staff from the Beverly Hills Boutique for bringing the fantastic 2011 collection for our viewing. This years lineup is one of the best Panerai has rolled out. I walked in thinking of only going after the 375, I left thinking I might have to add the 372 also. The watches just seem to sell themselves. it turns out to be a more expensive evening than anticipated. Well worth the money!
