This is the first generation. A wonderful watch, aesthetically, front and back.
A pity the governor is too loud. It kills the sound of the minute repeater.
I sold it some 19 years ago to get the JLC MMR in titanium. But I loved it.

Would jump immediately if they made the same look in a simple watch.

I'm surprised to learn now about the governor's disruptive sound and that it was deemed to pass muster at IWC.
I still remember people complaining to the Fashion Police when I wore a rose gold variant while Go-Karting at IGOTT 2 in Las Vegas.

Sat next to a lucky and happy owner at a session at my favorite Copenhagen AD back in 2017.
The discrete and simple beauty of this watch stuck with me. Another IYKYK-watch that does not scream out loud about its abilities. I love that.
