I have the 16014 Linen Dial and Iam longing to wear it with a nice leather strap and for that I have secured an original steel buckle 16mm . Pls advise which colour would look good ...

I’d tone down the strap to be dark brown so the linen dial can stand out and contrast a bit- not too much-hands down [nt]

I agree that 5 (charcoal) would be a good choice, but like the expressed thought of a brown tone even better. And I know it goes without saying (a curious expression as when
used it is meant to emphasize the fact that something should be said) but you've got a beautiful watch, there! The dial needs accord, harmony—nothing strong or distracting. The watch is the thing. Good luck! FH
Perhaps none. The linen pattern is essentially linear*. The pattern on the straps consists of chaotic squares. Not an ideal combination. (*There's a pun struggling to get out there.) [nt]
