Because i want a watch with an enamel or grand fue white dial. But the Sky isn’t bad either. Champagne kind of silver/white dials i like, but own a good champagne dialed watch, an enamel and a grand fue white i do not have.
JOW, i have the same preference as u for the white dialed Explorer II. I do not have the watch, but i consider it to acquire.
I know many watch fans loves black dialed watches.
My preference for shiny objects comes with the light that can blink.
Back to Rolex. Why the explorer II is for me one of the first choice Rolexes. The case have a nicer shape dan say a date just. The price is not as crazy as the popular submariner. 42mm is perfect for my wrist. 😀Not a flutted bassel. The Omega Globemaster flutted basel is ok for me.
The sub 116610LV is also a peace i have my eyes on. Watch it’s price curves.

I have tried, believe me I have tried to limit my collection to just one, but there are always new models coming out or older models I have a weak spot for, like amanico’s GMT Master, if only...

I have tried to find it on Rolex website as well as at a Rolex dealer but have failed everywere so what to do but turn to you with your indept knowledge! I am planning to buy one for myself Thanks Pelle

I really have no idea Pelle and in all honesty, I believe that sky white and polar white are made up by Rolex fans and not official colours as far as I know.
Having trouble getting past the mismatched white on the Sky Dweller GMT ring.

I'd like it better if the ring either matched the dial hue or had a deliberately contrasted background color. (Blue? Gray?) All of which is to say that, as executed, I prefer the more harmonious dial on the Explorer II.
