Two days, and 36mm two ways !

Good things come in small packages ! Definitely true for me and Rolex.

Here are two 36mm watches, approximately 40 years apart in age.  A classic case size like 36mm remains relevant.

Excuse my not setting the correct date on the DD yesterday, accidentally jumped past the correct date and as you folks will appreciate I was too lazy to go around the moon again (thank you non quick set!).

Your DD is an absolute knockout

Thank you T, the oldie is definitely the goldie in this case.

Gorgeous pair.

36 mm a perfect size.

For me, most definitely.

Both good looking watches

I haven’t seen that dial on the DD before. What is the ref please?

It’s an 1803, from the mid-late 70s.

36mm looks perfect on your wrist 👌🏻

I do think so also. Thanks for looking.

For some reason, it looks a bit small when I try one on myself, but not the case for you 👌🏻

 By: 1WatchMan : March 29th, 2024-08:01

I have a smaller wrist, 6.25 inches or so.

 By: Jay (Eire) : March 29th, 2024-18:55

My wrist is not much bigger, but it looks a hair small

Everything just looks so good on you!

You are definitely one of the most stylish members of WPS!

Didn’t realize that contrast was there, one WFH day, one office day.

36 mm is my favorite size, for the OP.

 By: amanico : March 28th, 2024-22:04

Indeed. It suits all wrists.

 By: Jay (Eire) : March 29th, 2024-03:00

Very convincing, at least for me.

Two winners for sure. The DD wins the DNA and charm context for me ☺️

Yes, it’s hard to beat.

Plus the President bracelet is in my opinion the pinnacle.

Indeed one the most comfortable bracelet in the market

Both equally nice.

They don't look like 36mm. probably like me, on the smallish wrist size.

Yes.

When I look at the pictures like this I do often wonder what I’m doing wearing 40mm watches for example. But they do look a little smaller in real life, although on the bracelet each definitely wears bigger than if they were on a strap.

It’s not the size that matters…

It’s the motion of the gears…
😜😜😜

Or in the case of the DD…the non quick set motion.

Well done on that OP shot! And the DD, of course ;-)

That one came out well.

I had taken a shot indoors during a coffee stop, but it really needed some natural light so I took a quick detour.

I am not macho enough to wear 40mm Rolexes! :-)

36mm is the ideal size for me too. I love your Tiffany dial watch.

Thanks Sham.

Was fortunate to get it in hindsight. At that time I did have a AD I had some history with and so that definitely helped. Plus, early on I don’t think the 36mm OP was as popular across male and female.
