What an exceptional specimen dear Nicolas! Just as we love them! It`s incredible that a military watch can suurvive with those super sharp bevel lugs and overall condition.

Congrats to its owner and thank you so much for sharing with us. A gift for our eyes! Abrazos amigo mio! Abel
Agree with you Bill that the no date has an extra spicy touch but your date specimen looks so gorgeous to me. It would make me a very happy man this watch on my wrist!

Keep enjoying and loving it so much!! Best cordial regards, Abel
Thanks for posting. This really has the magic. I wonder what it sold for new. Irrelevant, I know, but it's interesting how certain watches (cars, or other things) capture our imaginations and have lasting value.
Just for fun, I looked up the price of the world's most expensive car (a Ferrari 250 GTO) when it sold new in 1963 -- $18,000, which was a lot and Enzo had to approve the sale. I think only 36 were produced and one recently sold for $70 million.
