Greetings!

Finally I get my new Milgauss with the Green cristal. Soon I'll take the pictures and post them.

I have some questions:

1.- Is true that the green cristal lost its color with time?
2.- Is true that Rolex will produce this tipe of cristal in small quntities making this piece highly collectible?

I personally saw a letter from Rolex to a local dealer concerning this problem.

On January 2008 Rolex asked back all the green crystal Milgauss watches delivered in 2007.

The reason is that the sun light is damaging the green colour..result is after few months ...white version !

No problem for this year deliveries..I 'm also waiting for mine in 2 / 3 months..you are lucky and I will wait for your pics asap !

i think so b/c rolex collectors are notorious for attention to transitional models.

With the intro of the larger Day Date 2, we now can be all but certain that the 41mm Datejust will follow--and this will be almost a Twin of the Milgauss but with date. At that point, the Milgauss novelty will be diluted, and one would guess that green Milgauss will be coming in higher numbers by this time next year... and note that the black and white dial versions are selling now at lower and lower prices, close to list... so... everything I see points toward the Milguass line coming way down in price, especially that big Datejust coming down the pike--because the Milgauss is essentially,  a big, no date Datejust. FWIW.

If the dis-coloring issue is true, I guess value will go up. BUT, sad to see the green fading away each day!
