The Tudor Big Crown, when it has a military History, didn't came with a bracelet, but with a NATO...

Finding some nice NATOs is a pretty tough mission.

we have the basic one,s we find every where, then we have the stitched ones, with leather on the under side, and the all leather, which made me happy till then.

Now, we have another solution...

I found this:



Not too thick, nor too thin, it has been treated to be used in water, which will never happen on this very special Tudor Big Crown, though, but it is good to know, if you want to use it on a modern diving watch.

But I must say that the combo is awesome, as well as the feeling on the wrist, as it is supple, very supple, and comfortable to wear.

And last detail, it almost matches with these nicely patined indexes.

Devil must be in the details.

However, I still have a little difficulty with Rolex's or Tudor's on leather straps just doe not seem natural.

Maybe I am just to traditional.

funny too...i put a very similar style of strap on my red-depth Explorer and was really pleased with that too....

That watch...I guess it haunts many of us on our dreams,
the ghost gray bezel insert speaks of battles fought before,
and it is still kicking a... sorry, I got a little carried away.
Vintage panerai style straps,on the other side,
I've always thought thah they get very well along with vintage rolex.
It definitely is a killer combination Nicolas,
Inspirational I say.
That's why I love vintage rolex, because they are so charming and polifacetic.
Please, keep this kind of stuff comming, more please! (Ha ha! like some kind of drug)

As a Panerai I was, and still am, straps were always important, for me.

I even think that Panerai gave me the strap culture.

So, each time I fall on a nice strap, I have to have it.

No wonder why I own approximatively 200 straps...  

As for the watch, it is in my top five favourite, certainly the Vintage Rolex I wear the most, since I have it ( 8 months ).

There was historically so many links between the 2 brands.

As for the strap, once again, it will perfectly owrk on a Panerai, or, in a different size, on a Rolex / Tudor.

The straps come in different size, from 20 to 24 mm and with different buckles: a normal one, and one for Panerai watches ( 24 mm only ).
