I know I always on about the gilt gloss dials but I really have found space that narrows the focus to the gilt years and what a joy on the wrist.

Very hard to translate to pictures especially just using the iPad as a camera.

Here is a little more detailed shots of the Rolex 5512 Swiss T <25 from 1965.







And a few macro shots to show how the paint is on two levels creating an indentation where the gold sits. It is a sort of negative printing in a concave fashion. You can always tell a refinished dial from an original by this trait. A refinished dial starts with the black paint first then they apply the gold on top. With an original if is the other way round with the gold underneath.

I think the Doxa collection you will soon see will be very complete.

Diving theme for the early years around the saturation divers just the main ones excluding BlancPain which you have covered all the bassis.  Something around 1969-1971.

Up to the early Seventies, you have 20 years to cover, and believe me, that is a theme which requires some years of hunt, as a big part of these birds are rare and tough to catch...

But I am so happy to see that we share this very same passion / obsession!

... that's the one!  I've been debating lately about finding that nice, great, vintage watch.  Something old school.  Something really vintage.  Something gilt.  Something with some great history.  These criteria led me to a gilt, 4 line 5512.  Now that I've seen your watch, I'm leaning even more in that direction.  What a beauty!  Enjoy that watch, Bill!

4 line gilt non chapter ring is a great target but you need to be sure the serial range puts it in the 1964-1966 range to be safe and a 1.4 million serial.  There is always a chance is could tickle the 1.5 mil range but try and go for a solid 1.4.
