Friday 1016 on my wrist... at Baron´s request...

Goes without saying that the 3-6-9 is a killer....but the lume on yours seems to have this golden allure.

The Explorer 1016 was the Explorer I was most fond of, and had no interest in other Explo variants... Well till our friend Nicolas opened my eyes to the 1655, and I saw your pictures of your unique red 6610.
I feel Explorers are one of the most iconic Rolex watches they made.

my 1665 Rail also has some hand corrosion...
.....i think it reflects its life...and for a watch like the 1016 I think it adds more to see that.
Your explorer is superb. The more I collect and the older I get, the more I love the Explorer as a style
