I waved between these 2 for so long that I can honestly say that the answer is... Both.

The 7032 has a sweeter look, more sensual, maybe, but the 7159 doesn't lack character, either.

If I had to get one, and only one, I think that I would go for the 7159, much more affordable, but providing a lot of pleasure.

But you know thazt kind of game... Once you have one, you start hunting the second one.

These old beauties are so rare down here! I guess best option for me, is to be confident in the Cosmos, and wait to see what luck brings first!

I would take the plunge whichever comes!

7031 for me

Thay are both beautiful, but extremely rare, and extremely expensive. Honestly, I would just admire from afar, and buy the re-edition. Think of it like a choice between buying an old Lotus E-Type, or a new Evora. You are goong to have alot less problems with the Evora, cheaper to maintain, and to be honest, a better car. The Tudor Heritage Chrono Blue is the one to get !

They a two different beasts! The MC is beautifully elegant, the 7159 seems more 'disco'! I love both and agree that probably, the only decent thing to do is add both to the stable! The prices of these two is getting high though. I get a lot of contact through the site about chronos, more so that Subs at the moment. Tudor really does some to be finding its own feet in the collectors' field. As noted above, the Heritage reissues are quality pieces too and at a fantastic price point. I own both the Heritage  Homeplate and the Black Bay and have been highly impressed by both.

I will certainly have one eye on the re editions.

Some will kill me, here, but i prefer these 2 vintage Tudor Chronos to the Daytona sister...

... and it blew me away.  I had only ever seen pictures before but to see the watch in person - WOW.  I really enjoyed wearing it and liked the way it looked much more than I would have thought.  Definitely incredible watches.  Thanks for sharing all!

Just being new to the hobby of (trying) to collect such important watches, a big question arises. Where to get the watches?

Chrono24 is a realiable source, albeit a little expensive, Ebay is riskier but maybe all depends on the seller .

It seems you found two (specially the Porsche) very difficult to impossible to find watches, in that kind of condition (correctly aged dial with the original hands, bracelets and so on, even the boxes are handed`).

Hoy do you get access to such watches?

Ever hit the market and most sit in collector's private hands. When they do exchange from collector to another collector many times it is private transaction and never listed. The majority of my pristine rarer pieces were wither found this way or I contracted Andrew Shear, Eric Kuor Stehane M to hunt down for me or by from a collector they knew had one. Not easy to find and you must know the right people of course. Cheers,

Ask for advices, do not forgt that paying the price is often better than getting a wrong deal.

It takes time, but it is really rewarding.

For me the 7032 has a lot of personality into your dial and hands.

...and an overall busier dial, that make the watch look smaller.

I enjoyed the review.  Wanted to share my new one, which Ken informed me today is a Porsche! It's the first time I've heard that.  I have a 7836 in very nice condition which is stored away.
