I had a Tudor Heritage Chrono, I believe that I never posted it here, but I was chasing a Pelagos.

Yesterday I bumped on a friend that had a Pelagos and was chasing a Heritage.

Done!

I'm in love with the discrete charm of the Pelagos. Some day I will do a quick on the wrist review.

Good bye Heritage. Some day ... who knows. Good to know that is on a good wrist.

Notice that I always remove the bracelet (the Pelagos is outstanding but ... it's me).

I find that Tudor is making his homework beautifuly in these last years, offering some new productos based in old designs, which are very tempting and well made.

As a matter of fact, I couldn´t resist buying both a Blackbay and a Heritage (gray dial) myself during 2013.

Now, I can imagine that the decision to let go one of them to make room for another must be a tough one for you, as both are beautiful timepieces with a very nice design, overall finish and attention to detail.
(I specially love the use of classic bevels on their case lugs, something Rolex regrettably left behind in their own models).

Anyway, most important thing as I said before, is you are happy with the exchange made with your friend, and I´m sure he is very happy too.

Regarding straps and bracelets, I prefer to wear my Blackbay with the "vintage" leather straps supplied, and my Heritage chrono with the full black Nato style which came with the Blackbay. I agree with you that the steel bracelet supplied with these watches is outstanding, but I prefer the more casual and sporty look of these watches when worn with a leather or nylon set of straps.

In respect to the bracelet, the Pelagos bracelet is one of the best designed ever.

Since I live on a city, not now of course - warm all the time, that is warm during the day and relatively cold after sunset, this bracelet with the "easy micro adjustment" is a great answer.

But, since I'm a leather person ... First thing I did was to replace the metal bracelet by one fantastic Panerai styled leather.

About the "one must go" to get another, this is a rule that I'm trying to enforce with some success. This rule also helps to maintain sane my bank manager.

I'm trying to put some order on my meager collection and I already broke the "sound barrier" of acquisitions in January (Two JLC and two others).

First thing is to have a limited number and trying to "purify" the set.

Add to this, the fact that literally few seconds before this trade I did an acquisition of something that I was looking for years and years and the vendor didn't took a song for it.

Stay tuned because I need some time to perfect the pictures and to add an interesting piece of history of collecting.

Rolex didn't shows any new chronograph in 2013.

Mysterious chronograph. It was announced in 2013 and this chronograph didn't shows even on the PuristSPro report.

You must have owned every contemporary Tudor except for the Advisor and the Glamour now...

I had quite a few Tudors over the recent years:

Grand Tour, Chronautic, Heritage and now the Pelagos.

In my past life (before the robbery) I had two vintage Snow Flakes.

I truly miss my Grand Tour, that you have one. Keep it or you go to regret, like I do.

The Pelagos seems to be a true keeper.
