The timeless classic charm of the Heuer Carrera 2447 NST.
In the world of vintage Chronographs linked to automotive, there are some stars, such as the Rolex Daytona, or this Heuer Carrera.
This Carrera, in this panda configuration, is very nice looking, and has a cool factor which is indisputable.
Not mine, but who knows, maybe one day, if I fall on such a pretty specimen...

Stunning example of vintage Carrera
I’m glad to see that (based on prices) Vintage Carreras are finally earning their due respect. It seems like of the Heuer’s, Autavias & Monacos have commanded the spotlight. While it may be due in part to the halo effect of the aforementioned, it’s great to see Carreras getting attention. I can’t help but wonder if the strength of the new Carreras may influence the vintage market as well.

Ok, of course, for simple GREED I wish I could sell it today for more $$.
But I sold it because it felt light and cheap and over-rated...
Can we please admit this is an OK watch with an OK movement... and crazily over-rated?

It is NOT a 25-40K watch. PERIOD.
