Thanks. What is the difference between the 63 and the 64?

I had a watch with the 63 before and I really liked it. From the pics it seems a couple more jewels has been added. Would love to hear from experts about the upgrade.

Many thanks,
Chi Kai

Not so much an upgrade rather a change in display. Plus they added a larger top plate to improve stability of the wheel train and enhanced the look and finish.

Earlier several years ago GS added a SPRON mainspring to the former 9S54 (making it the 9S64) which extended power reserve from 48 to 72 hours.

GS started making 9S movement since 1998. 1st was 9S55, later 9S55A to 9S65

9S55 to 9S65, GS used MEMS to make lighter enscapement.
That’s all I know, I’m not sure what was done from 9S65 to 9S64 & 9S63.
