Just wanted to join with some new pictures of my GMT "Peacock".
A case with a strong character.
Of course the beauty of the dial.
The hi-beat movement with a clean industrialized finish.
My next Grand Seiko? Most probably a Spring Drive model as I find this technical solution fascinating.

Hi Jurry, I had the SBGA285 and I also recommend the "Snowflake", both with moderate case size, equipped with Spring Drive (which is a big USP of GS) and truly excellent finishing. Look at the hands with a loupe and you see the difference to Rolex and Omega (despite those also great watches of course). Of course, there are also other models, but those I know from more or less own experience.
