The materials used and the techniques displayed are probably best-in-class when compared to many other brands and competing time only watches. Thank you! I think im very lucky to have been able to get this rare piece. Seiko MAS have done an awesome job. Its not as extravagant in terms of design compared to a simplicity, but the credor gives us a little more subtle elegance.
Eichi 2
While I have never seen some of the other watches like the simplicity in person, I thought the level of finishing on the Eichi 2 was amazing. I love the porcelain dial with the hand painted indices .

lucky you! I have not yet seen the rare simplicity in person yet. But i have had the privilege to see exceptional pieces from MB&F legacy machines, kari voutilainen and A. lange and sohne. These brands have finishing that are top of their class. But the eichi is right up there with them and dare I say even better in some aspects. The porcelin hand painted dial just adds that extra layer of complexity in simplicity.

Looking at photos of the watch brands you mention along with the professional reviews we know these pieces are in rarified air.as far as finishing. They become. pieces of wearable art .

These watches represent an artisans vision as well as execution . The Eichi is produced at about 20 pieces a year since so much handwork is required in production.
I feel very fortunate to have the Gold version. I did like it better than the Platinum but both are wonderful in my eyes.
I hope everyone on this forum has a watch they feel the same way about what ever the brand or model .

A well rounded package
is it a very holistic watch. Blends all the important bits of watchmaking into one perfect package.
I feel the pain of the artisans who have to hand paint the dial! Exceptional watchmaking
