In my unbridled enthusiasm i made sure my children were well supplied with watches from the start. My daughterβs first (even before the standard FlikFlak / Swatch stuff) was a mechanical Fortis Mini Flipper NOS. That she might have worn once or twice π
So this yearβs birthday present was handed over with slight trepidation (my wife already called dibs if our daughter doesnβt like it π). Shouldnβt have worried - seems to be a standard wrist companion since the birthday and have to say itβs quite well done. We might put it back in the bracelet eventually, once I get around to sizing it ππ»
Anyone else in the process of introducing the next generation to the pleasure of watches? π

I tried a Winnie the Pooh watch with my daughter when she was very young, and later a Casio and a Seiko, but none of them had staying power ...

hard to find mechanical watches for slender wrists..
Have given both of my daughters baby G-Shock...thinking they don't need take them off even in pools etc. First daughter loves to wear watches all the time but tends to loose them.. while the other doesn't wear often. Trying to find small and rugged mechanical watches for them. They know my watch collection .. hoping we can share the watches some day.

Vintage might be easier because there were more watches in the smaller size ranges. Hence my first choice being the Fortis Mini Flipper π
