I just received a package from Japan with a new Seiko Dolce from the 80s. It joins its sister, the champagne-dial one, in my collection.
I fell in love with their slim quartz watches from the 80s because the material they used was only used for two years by Seiko : titanium nitride. This gives it a golden mirror effect but it is also a very scratch-resistant material with a very high hardness index. Thus, the watches are 45 years old but look completely new.
