...an original issue of this watch and what was unique about it was that it is an automatic movement. Apparently the quartz movement was not quite ready to ship so Piaget made a small run of automatics. Quite rare it turns out.
yes, i heard from my AD that they did sell one such version to their customer back then
agree it's a bold one. i usually prefer low key pieces but somehow, this one speaks to me. probably imprinted in my subconscious from my childhood 😅
So the teacups come with the watch? Or the other way around? Nice gesture, nevertheless.
