Meanwhile, at Cartier
Went to Cartier for a new strap and to have the running of the watch checked. Got the strap and left the watch. Here are the new Roadsters. OH they are nice. Love the curve on the wrist. Glad to see kt back in the line up. And a few shot of the watches on display. What a day!
Cool. Interesting seeing the Roadster back. Wish I never sold mine because it's a pretty unique design.
I don’t recall the Roadster looking this cool…very nice, especially the dark dial version.

Did it seem more svelte in person and on the wrist, not talking thick ness but just the overall piece, especially the date/tailight area
It was just right.
Felt to me like I had a magnet on my wrist and it just clicked into place. 7 1/4" wrist. Bracelet optional kinda feeling. It just stuck to my wrist. You'll notice I'm not holding or pinching the bracelet in either photo. Thickness felt totaly appropriate to me. I did not try a medium.

I just had to confirm by seeing it in the metal and it was even better than I thought. The "Large" size case sits on top of the wrist so comfortably and the watch looks great with either bracelet or blue rubber strap options. I personally like that they toned this new version down. The smaller screws on top of the bezel add that elegance we all love about Cartier and the overall look and feel is a lot more premium than the original go-around. They really nailed this shade of blue. At the very least it's definitely worth checking out.
