I will try to explain more regarding the novelties later but until then I wanted to share these with you. I’ve now moved on to the Watch & Wonders fair so will have to respond to your questions and comments later.
Finally a bit of time to reply a full program yesterday…. The Vagabondage I blew me away. I’ve always loved this watch bit to finally see it in rose gold was amazing. I thing Jay has a point when he says that the Vagabondage trilogy is probably better in rose gold.
This version looks very “complete”. I remember trying a new rose gold Vagabondage on in about 2017 and contemplating owning it. For various reasons I didn’t buy it, but I felt that rose gold looked perfect for this watch.
Lucky you! Thanks for sharing these photos. The vagabondage looks fabulous in gold, and I love that they reintroduced the Reserve de Marche (Automatique).
At Watch & Wonders it was difficult to be blown away by novelties. I think many brands don’t keep the important releases for the fair any more. However it was a great opportunity to browse and see some of the smaller brands and see with the fingers. I think what I mainly felt was that my collection is in a good place with the path I have chosen and I don’t feel I am missing out on much, except I need to go in to Grand Seiko. They impress me both technically and aesthetically.
