No accessible steel case cal. 135s are planned :(

That is the only way I'm interested in that watch, and, though it had been appearing increasingly unlikely, I was holding out hope. No more! From an interview with Romain Marietta on SJX: RM: First of all, relaunching this calibre in large quantities, ins

Wow welcome I saw last post 7 years ago!

I’ve actually been meaning to try one of these bioceramic watches, probably a blancpain as I have two speed mashers already. For me these don’t really affect the core brand at all (AP, blancpain, omega) as the colors and material are vastly different. I d

I saw this on Instagram and the whimsical dial made me think of the Boss.

We both love the beach and surfing, so I pulled the trigger. As with most things on Instagram, which can be a hit or miss. Image a Richard Mille eating two or three Hublot Big Bangs and you get the idea from a size perspective. It’s a WHOPPER, but the Bos

I bought this, so you can guess where I stand on the matter!

Lorige has no interest in being RM or any other brand. This is something completely different. Obviously, the case shape will bring forth the comparisons. At the end of the day, there are 2 HUGE differences between the two: 1. One is real, authentic autom

It's a real departure for the company

Much like the odd but charismatic mid-career work of Frank Lloyd Wright, the DB20-24 series was an odd tangent in De Bethune's design journey. They have almost nothing in common with the prior and subsequent De Bethune models, and they're sort of a design

For Artime specifically I don’t have an answer except to say…

…with those designs they are gunning for the RM crowd, but arguably at a much more realistic (relative to RM) price point. To pull that RM crowd you need something more than technical chops and watchmaking chops. More generally on winners and not winners

Thanks for sharing and for the helpful visual comparisons!

Another recent release I was comparing is the new Hermes H08 skeleton ($21K) to the new Richard Mille RM 55-01 ($155K) Both based on a Vaucher caliber.

For me personally, the following three stand out:

1. 6105G-001: It dares to present a design they never did before. The Richard Mille for intellectuals, if you will... 2. 5810/1G-001: The 41mm size and the 240 microrotor movement makes this very compelling to me and I would love to own one (if that happe
