First off, I can only concur 100% that the early Toric case is magnificent, a work of art as you say.

I have a strong personal preference for white metal and between the two white metals here, platinum is my easy choice. Once you've experienced a platinum Toric, all other metals pale in comparison. Having said that, rose gold would be number 2 for me. The

Stopped by the Parmigiani dealer in Scottsdale AZ and saw a couple of the recent releases . . .

Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante with "Arctic Rose" dial. Reference PFC904-1020002-100182. This watch is drop dead gorgeous in person. Notice the dial color change from artificial lighting to natural lighting. Toric Petite Seconde. Reference PFC940-2010003-300
