My Longines Skin Diver reedition.

Since most of my “good” watches are away until I move, I’m now able to explore some watches I bought for one reason or another 😂 but haven’t really worn much. I think this one is really cool. 42mm. Reference L2.822.4. From 2018. The original is from 1959.

Longines 30CH Ref 7413.

Among vintage chronographs, the Longines have a place d'honneur. 13 ZN or 30 CH... The magic of a great movement, with nice cases and dials. A watch I am extremely happy to have with me for some 18 years now. Best, Nicolas

A really nice diver... but makes it difficult to tell the time

It was in 1949 that Walter Gygax launched the Cornavin Watch in Geneva. The watches were very conventional in design—calendar watches, automatic watches, ladies’ watches—and the movements came from the Ebauches SA trust. How Cornavin came to develop a wat
