Top three new releases by Tudor IMO

1. BB54 with a purple dial, very hard to get the color right. The case size at 37 mm, bracelet, clasp and the height are spot on, fits like a glove. Knurling on the bezel is brushed and the sound when turning is just right. 2. Tudor Monarch, space race ag

Out of all the releases..........

From Rolex and Tudor. This is the one that stands out for me. I very much like the minor cosmetic changes that they have made, which being a previous owner of the original BB58, makes it look more robust and a tool watch. Of course the bigger and with no

Well if I can sway you…

Only from the pictures, I’m not totally sure about the blue on the new watch. It seems very shiny, very retro Rolex blue. The BB58 blue is less severe. Just 2 cents from the peanut gallery ! 😂

I have been very tempted by the BB58 Bronze,

but finally didn’t pull the trigger. I wouldn’t be against finding a Seiko or Grand Seiko, but the design never appeals to me enough (and I keep telling myself that I would wear this watch only during summer). Best, Emmanuel

Yes, I was completely happy with the BB58 as a GADA until they made me leave it for the weekend.

Because the original thought process before the BB58 was going to be a no-date sub, then a YM42. The wait period changed me to get the 58 as a stop-gap. THEN the lack of delivery created a serendipitous moment and a fortunate siren song. I'm absolutely th

I think the only good advice we (I?) can give you is to do what you feel is right for you.

My personal choice would probably be to stick to the Alpine Eagle and wait for a no-date Sub or Ti YM42. But it depends very much on your lifestyle. Because of its price and build quality, the BB58 is more of a GADA watch than the AE and even the YM42 or

White metals (updated)

Our dear Ronald Held recently suggested that a thread dedicated to white metals was long overdue . So, here's one . The list I have compiled is as follows (in “alphabetical” order). It is certainly incomplete : so please feel free to suggest other white m
