Calatrava 5120/1G-001

A charming and classic dress watch that has a distinctively different look than the 5120G-001 strap variant. Here the dial is opaline with Dauphine hands, faceted markers and an applied dimpled minute track compared to a white dial, stick hands and applie

Calibre 240 is 27,50 mm, so not that bad for

a 36 mm watch. The ref. 5120 is 35 mm and the caliber fits the case back perfectly: www.watchprosite.com I'm glad you like this Millenium Calatrava too! Cheers, Emmanuel

Outdated or timeless understated refinement?

Patek Philippe's Calatrava 5120/1G-001 feels very attractive to me. As Tim Mosso says in his review, it's "everything you need, nothing you don't". Best to you all. credit: tim mosso for the 1916 company credit: touch of modern Review by Tim Mosso

It was offered in both R and G, with a gorgeous enamel dial (it also overlapped with the 5119 in the catalog, and I remember the difference was quite visible between the two, at least side by side!). Obviously, not many 5116s were produced, but some still

A very nice post!

I start to appreciate the 5120 with its beautiful enamel dial more and more. I have owned the 5246G for almost a decade but sold it because I couldn’t live with the white date window on a dark grey dial anymore. I know, this sounds ridiculous but I am … „

Back to basics!

With the mania around sport watches in general, and the hysteria around the Tiffany pieces reaching a fewer pitch, let's take a step back a look at what Patek Philippe really is known for: timeless and understated elegance and top quality. A good example
