U50 - a year in review

Here’s a quick review of my year with the U50, or the story of a watch which wasn’t supposed to join the collection, a feeling most of you will have experienced if you are old enough. I find it quite interesting that two of my most recent purchases fall i

Lovely watch. But tell me something...

as a right-wrister, do you also find lefty watches (at least potentially) uncomfortable? With regular watches, the crown, or big Panerai crown guard, never digs into my wrist, because it's pointing the other way. The first time I ever owned a lefty watch

I'm like you...

My first, and still probably favorite Sinn, is a 103: I added an EZM3, which was great too: But it gave way when I got my hands on its original, the EZM1: That's my confession!

SINNing at 500m

This EZM3 has been my daily beater for a couple of years. Rated as a dive watch to 500m, it also has other interesting features: anti-magnetic to 80,000 A/m, argon-filled, copper sulphate moisture absorbing capsule, and low-temp oils good down to -45C/-49

The EZM has a lot going for it

as a serious instrument watch, with practical technology to keep the movement running reliably in most conditions. Just returned from a ski trip where the EZM3 once again kept me company. Congrats on yours and may it time many happy adventures!
