SINNing at 500m
This EZM3 has been my daily beater for a couple of years. Rated as a dive watch to 500m, it also has other interesting features: anti-magnetic to 80,000 A/m, argon-filled, copper sulphate moisture absorbing capsule, and low-temp oils good down to -45C/-49F.

These depths would kill you before reaching 500 meters.
In real life a 300 m Submariner or 200 m Tudor is enough even for all technical diving. These top depth ratings are for desk divers. Best, Kari
As a Divemaster I'm allowed to go 40 m
and I agree with you about the sensible max depth. In 40 meters it starts to be dark and there is not much to see excluding wrecks. Best, Kari

That depth is good for snorkelling
and indeed, a diving watch is not needed. Like I have said many times in the past, a diving watch is pretty much history and good modern watches like all Rolex, Patek 5711, 5167, etc. are all good for the maximum depths of scuba diving. A watch with 50 me...

But I still have a sea dweller and I don’t do saturation diving at all. What can I say.
I am simply scared.
If one would have a reason to come fast to the surface from such a depth, it can become the last voyage. Best Kari
