Sadly for me, it won’t be the Albert. Which when knowing the story behind it, who made it and why, means so much.
The direction change is understandable given the ownership structure and management style. For me, fundamentally the shift from when Marco was in charge and now makes for a different business model, which is fine and the way of the watch world very often. However, there is a difference and that to me is worth noting.
L&H still make some of the most compelling watches period. The way in which they dedicated hours to hand finishing and executing their style is evident.
