Yes, a new chrono is coming
Sadly for me, it won’t be the Albert. Which when knowing the story behind it, who made it and why, means so much.
The direction change is understandable given the ownership structure and management style. For me, fundamentally the shift from when Marco was in charge and now makes for a different business model, which is fine and the way of the watch world very often. However, there is a difference and that to me is worth noting.
L&H still make some of the most compelling watches period. The way in which they dedicated hours to hand finishing and executing their style is evident.

This Johann looks and is absolutely wonderful.

The third lug was part of an aesthetic design that Marco felt was important. He wanted to bring some “weight” or mass to the enter line of the watch, given that the crown with the subtle guards, meant that the right hand side of the watch was overly weigh...

Also, look at the Friedrich III, as perhaps a better size. It’s just under 40mm, which for my wrist is a better proportion, and with special Order enamel dial, possibly the perfect dress watch😉 The Johann at 43mm is marginally too big for me. Cheers! ...

The Albert mono pusher co-axial chronograph is still in my top three watches of all time. Sadly L&H has discontinued this epic model. So this lucky few who got one are fortunate to say the least. I’d stretch to the 44mm case if this was to show up😉 Sadly ...
