Almost moved this piece along, but I couldn’t let it go in the end. I admit, I did get sucked into the Omega vortex recently with the Speedy white dial and FOIS. Funny how the brain is able to justify certain decisions.😊
The only one that caught my attention was the Speedmaster FOIS. However, the same movement as the hesalite Speedy, the thickness of the case and crystal, and the color of the luminous material turned me off. So I left empty handed.
Omega has been on a roll with their string of releases eg white dial Speedy, FOIS, and now the reverse panda. I’ve been wanting to put my ST1 back into rotation again, but with the new release it became more of an urgency in order to prevent a reactionary

I think it’s more a blueish grey than a blue. I love the whole concept and am thinking about picking one up. I don’t adore the fauxtina but can live with it in respecting what omega have chosen and are attempting to deliver. I have tried it on a few times
I very much like the vintage features that Omega put into this FOIS version. However, every time I come back to it hoping to catch a glimpse of what is called a blue/grey dial, it never happens. I can see the cool sunburst effect (subtle), but no color, e
