No offence taken. I bought my Panerai from an authorised dealer but this latest purchase has taken me out of my comfort zone. My instinct is that this is genuine but the fact that it is in such perfect condition for a 1950s watch makes me worry a little.
Thank you for your replies. The watch has not reached me yet and if not genuine I will have comeback. You can hardly be surprised Oliver if somebody with little expertise does not write much. I prefer to read what more informed people have to say.
I have just parted with hard earned cash for a vintage Patek Calatrava with paperwork from recent service, original box etc . How can I find out if it is genuine? I have a reference number (2557).
