find a reputable watch maker and have him open the case, if the movement is real then that is all you need to know as far as I am concerned.

I took it to my local watchmaker, he said that he did not think the bezel crown had anything wrong, he opened the case and we had a look at the movement. It's all cool! Thanks for all your help folks, I will get pics of my wife's at some point and post.

Thanks, you guys. It is a really fantastic watch and I am thoroughly loving it. I did not pop out the bezel crown. It just seems very hard to turn. I find the rotating bezel a useful function in watches. And the crown that operates the bezel seems super stiff. How hard do you find to turn it? Thanks
