My Lemania was polished somewhen by one of previous owners and now I can see only two crowns at some angle and few numerals of her inventory number. Unfortunately, the serial number is missed forever. On the Heuer's caseback there is "BUNDESWEHR" and inventory number. On the Breitling's caseback cle

I never seen any confirmation about military background of this model. E.g. no any markings on the caseback. So, it could be rumors. Btw, if you compare military watches from that era you''l find Arabic numerals which are quite useful in a cockpit (I could confirm this when I fly with my B817, H1550
