Ah that’s interesting to know. I’ve only ever noticed versions with the Waltham signed backs and Waltham signed rotors. I wonder if the ones with the BP signed backs also have a BP signed rotor. It’s always good to have an understanding which combinations are correct.

Shouldn’t it have a Waltham signed caseback ? That is what I’ve seen on the other examples.

But the material costs between 9k and 18k are likely under $2k for even a heavy case, so it’s not such a big influence in terms of manufacturing cost.

That the LM didn’t have pop up headlights ? Maybe it’s a sort of LM homage, but don’t ask me I can’t even justify the cost of the Lego one
