… and completely agree that it’s just not worth throwing money at this problem as an all correct watch with original Delrin bracelet is only a few thousand bucks. And anyway, the starting point for me is one of the most battered 3701 cases I’ve seen. I’ll likely make a similar case mod to Bill, or perhaps it could be possible to slot the case to accept a NATO strap. I’ll add pics here when I’m finished.

get the connectors, cut off the old strap, see if you can attach spring bars to that and wind a NATO strap through there. Maybe you don't have to essentially destroy the case to wear it. If no such easy thing exists, but you have an old connector, let me ...

I have tried to find anything in any condition. No such luck.
The Ocean 2000 nato strap was 300 Euro and did not fit.
It was hit or miss but a one off custom CNC strap could be super expensive. I guess maybe we could machine the nato strap.
