Patek Philippe: Fully agree!

Love the 'new' look instead of the stock condition....

Patek Philippe: Love that strap as well.

Is that original that comes with the 5270J or you added it thereafter? If so, care to share where you got it. it really accentuates the beauty of the J further. Thanks in advance!

Patek Philippe: Both, if i could

Will start with the 5270 (my grail!) before moving next notch up to the split. One bugbear is the ‘inverted’ moonphase. Looks kinda weird to me. The other being the little “chin”! Will either wait for the next replacement model or the 5004s instead.

Patek Philippe: Is it just me or that the strap looks seemingly very tight on the 6 o'clock position.

That said, fabulous looking watch! One of my all time favourite that made me set my sight on PP.

Patek Philippe: Gorgeous looking classic! Looks great on your wrist!

I was close to acquiring the later iteration - 5327g blue dial. Tried it on my wrist and felt a tad too small on my wrist, so no go.

Patek Philippe: Nice!

Am toying with the idea of doing this for my next 'project' when the existing leather strap needs a replacement

Patek Philippe: What a lovely classic looking Patek!

Love how it looks, the timeless classic looking dial. I nearly bought the 5496P-015 few years back but decided not proceeding. It just doesn't look quite 'right'. Guess I'm still very much into simple, classic & timeless beauties than the 'novelty design' language.
