Will start with the 5270 (my grail!) before moving next notch up to the split. One bugbear is the ‘inverted’ moonphase. Looks kinda weird to me. The other being the little “chin”! Will either wait for the next replacement model or the 5004s instead.
Patek 5270/1R or 5204G
Hi guys, I am new to this thread and wanted to take a poll. What do you guys think of the choice above?

I’d go 5204 because I’m a sucker for split chrono.

The only reason to pick the 5270…
… would be its lower price. 5204 is, of course, the much higher positioned watch.

5204 is the best chronograph Patek Philippe makes
Great movement, even if the rattrapante isn't the most reliable thing ever
Between these 2, I would go for the 5270
I don’t quite like the inverted moonphase on the 5204, especially on a white dial
