Yes, you should sell the Lange 1. If you miss it you can buy it back. Lange 1 is for me yellow gold with champanger dial.
The regular style PP 5235 have a nice dial in the wrong case. The form of the case is very similar to the old reference 3450 (perpetual calendar) - this case with a perpetual calendar would a dream. BR Michael

Unless you have a collection that requires this specific reference, buy something you’ll wear.
I don’t have a collection, only watches I like and have opportunity to wear.

Reason for not wearing it more often? Do you have other watches which are more suitable for everyday wearing? Patek is a great option and I understand well you are thinking about do the trade in it.

My advice: wear it for 2-3 weeks straight.

Thanks for your input, Steve. I'm afraid my current state of mind towards the Lange 1
is, that the thrill is gone.
Put it on a strap that isn’t black and wear it for a couple weeks.
The new strap (I’d go with a medium brown, maybe with some red tones, in croc) will warm it up.
Good suggestion.
Right now I’m following @vitalsigns suggestion and wear it for the next three weeks. If that doesn’t work a strap change might.
