Thank you Moe for sharing your experience with us. I too love this watch and there are two things worth noting when one compares this watch with say the Saxonia in 35mm. Despite being from the same family, the dial colours are slightly different. Your ultra thin has a richer more vintage patina which can be appreciated when you put both watches side by side. In addition, the movement on your watch shows more elements than the 35mm Saxonia or even the Lange 1 where the three quarter plate leaves little else to be seen.
I noticed that your watch has a black strap instead of the standard burgundy/brown strap. Was this by choice to make the watch more dressy because I must say the standard strap does blend in well with the rose gold?
Enjoy your gem of a watch. You are absolutely correct in saying that there are no watches currently produced in that price range that exhibit the quality of the ultra thin.

Great observations
Not many people notice the difference between the dials on the Saxonia 35mm and the Thin 37mm. The one on the Thin is indeed richer. As for the movement, i share your same sentiments- having the ratchet and crown wheels visible really adds a new dimension...

Very nice shot from the profile. Is winding the watch audible? I read somewhere the movement is making a sound?
Yes it is.
Not loud but i believe since the ratchet wheel is located on the surface the clicking of the wheel is a tad audible.
This might be a reason
I think the tough main spring might also cause the noise. Not directly but the ratchets. But the reward is a long power reserve.
This makes more sense
couple that with a thinner movement maybe? in all cases the noise is barely noticeable.
Every time I read about the Saxonia Thin....
