As an idea...
I like the daymatic, as I prefer the Journe-style time on the right to the traditional Lange time on the left, but that must be the busiest-looking movement ever. From the back it's just a riot of blue screws, gold chatons, random holes in the plates and red jewels!

I only meant that with the neutral materials, only the PT version of the former 1815 used the combo silver dial&blued hands. Because it was also used with the YG version. Thanks for your comments! Fx

In my case, I really like the PR indicator inspired by the day&night display of the timezone. But the DS one would have been nice too. The most important is that it doesn't impact the dial harmony. Fx
Lange was in Boston yesterday.
I saw the Dato up/down yesterday in Boston. I like it much better than the previous version as the larger diameter and lack of Roman numerals seem to give the dial a more refined/elegant finish. Funds permitting I'd buy it in a heart beat, and side by sid...

I understand the point of view of people who prefer the original one, it may have more character (roman figures, diamter/thickness ratio etc...). The new one is a very worthy evolution. Thanks! Fx
