I understand your point of view but first of all the bezel is rather thick: so the Richard Lange looks slightly smaller than it is actually.
Moreover the size allows us to take advange of the big second hand run... I think that a smaller size would be a pity in this case.

I only meant that with the neutral materials, only the PT version of the former 1815 used the combo silver dial&blued hands. Because it was also used with the YG version. Thanks for your comments! Fx

In my case, I really like the PR indicator inspired by the day&night display of the timezone. But the DS one would have been nice too. The most important is that it doesn't impact the dial harmony. Fx
Lange was in Boston yesterday.
I saw the Dato up/down yesterday in Boston. I like it much better than the previous version as the larger diameter and lack of Roman numerals seem to give the dial a more refined/elegant finish. Funds permitting I'd buy it in a heart beat, and side by sid...

I understand the point of view of people who prefer the original one, it may have more character (roman figures, diamter/thickness ratio etc...). The new one is a very worthy evolution. Thanks! Fx
