Can friends please verify if such shameful practice is Lange global policy?
I was treated the same too. It felt disrespectful for both new and loyal customers. Why must customer buy unwanted extra? I felt that it could be the boutique staff trying to boost sales record, but if it was global policy, I feel it is really below the belt.

Pink gold dial looks amazing
Very intelligent dial/complication configuration. Been given the opportunity and finding it very hard to resist.
I find the execution a bit clinical and derivative of the Lange Moonphase.
While I am a Lange fan, I prefer the Swiss offerings for a perpetual calendar.
i prefer always white metal but here i'm bit tilted to the RG-Grey dial...it looks amazing !
something i don't enjoy much with most ALS with Big-date, date-window background mismatch to dial & the first digit missing for first 9 days. but again, no watch is perfect for any purist, isn't it ;-) Best, mahesh.,

I’m out of luck. I love ALS but I don’t like salmon dials nor grey dials. Personally I would stick to the original combination and colors

Heard the same from my friend in HK and I was told by my SA at ALS boutique Singapore as well.
I would have done the same.
Their execution is rather crass on this. They might as well have asked that you to pay their boutique rent for a month (and stock their fridge with German beer weekly) in order to qualify to “apply” for a piece. I think it is OK to give your best clients ...
